As you can see we were rockin’ a more sophisticated laser by the 90’s. I started 1st grade in a new school, with new glasses (first pair), and a wardrobe consisting primarily of turtlenecks, oversized sweaters and stirrup pants. Perhaps my mom was taking pity on me when she let me choose the laser stars background, but she always took the time to make sure we didn’t clash with our background. Thanks Mom!
